Can you let us know a bit about the mix you've put together? Where did you record it and have you each got any fave tracks in it?
Most of the tracks are recent bits we’ve been digging, with a few older ones in there that we’ve not found an opportunity to play yet. The opener, a Kouslin remix of Pluralist which came out on Panel Audio, is one of those, it bangs! We also played our first ever track at the end, it’s not fully mixed and mastered yet but we couldn’t resist… Coming out soon on a compilation for Limit, look out for it!
Gotta jump in with Dimensions, so jealous that you're there, how is it!?! What's the vibe like? Must have been so damn fun!!
It was amazing! We’ve had a close relationship with the festival for years now and playing amongst so many talented friends makes it even more special. It was an emotional and cathartic one as it was the first without our late friend Alex T who literally is the spirit of Dimensions - the boat party dedicated to him is one we’ll remember for a long long time.
I saw you were both super subbed in for LSDXOXO! Sick sick, How was the set? What stage were you on for this one?
Yeah, we were asked just as we were taking off for Croatia and obviously jumped at the chance. It was a privilege to step in. We closed out the Olive Grove and played a lot of trance, which seemed to go down very well! On the other hand, LSDXOXO was one of the sets we were most looking forward to… we’ll definitely be finding a way to see him soon!
Heard some new music on your IG the other day, which sounds so good! Ready for the waft 🧡 Is it coming out soon? Excited to hear what you're writing!
Thanks! Yeah, we’ve been working on some stuff during lockdown but this is the first to see the light of day. As we mentioned earlier it’s coming out on a charity compilation for Limit UK, a Leeds-based party. Should be out before October and you can hear it in the mix…
QUICKFIRE - the best set of Dimensions?
Rosie: There were so many good ones but standouts were definitely Christian AB b2b Evan Baggs on the first night and the whole of the Pinkman takeover on Monday. I stayed for the full 12 hours. Kris Baha, Marsman and The Hacker tipped it for me.
Nadia: Hard question, so many special moments. I'd say Alex T's memorial boat party was a highlight with Aletha, Heels & Souls and Bugs Groove. Everyone was in such high spirits!
If you could pick any stage/time to play what would it be... and who would you chose to hand the decks over to you/hand the decks over to?
We love warming up and closing out so it’s difficult to pick. We were lucky to get to do both this year and play on both stages too. Of course, we’d love to get a chance to play at Barbarellas though… Probably sandwiched between all of our Dimensions crew, namely Will Lister (gotta mention his amazing set and the Ariana Grande edit he played!!), MLE, Sean OD, Stevie Cox, 404 Eros, Minus Kendall, Soraya and Heels & Souls. The best people who also happen to be incredible DJs.
