Sarkawt Hamad Mix
The Erbil born Amsterdam-based artist, Sarkawt Hamad is joining us for Tapes #120. Between the binaries of darker moods and bliss energies, her sound is unmistakable.
Tai Lokun Mix
Joining us for Tapes #118 is Tai Lokun, one of the UK’s newest rising DJs.The London-based DJ has lived around the globe and brings many of her far reaching influences into her eclectic sets. Though her signature style involves gracefully weaving between genres, she finds her sweet spot in classic house, percussive drums, breaks and groovy techno. When Tai is at a festival or a rave, her core goal is to always create fun, memorable moments for all those sharing the space with her.
ERIS Mix
Joining us for Tapes #115 is ERIS, a Berlin-based duo formed by Enrica Falqui and Dea. It was quite an interesting start to ERIS. Two souls from different musical histories met on a simple night out. They instantly connected and their taste and passion spiralled into production and mixing sessions. Their debut EP was released on CABARET Recordings and with that Moments EP was created.
Interstellar Funk Mix
Joining us for Tapes #113 is Interstellar Funk. He’s known for his love of transcending sounds, scenes, genres and generations, which comes from working at the famously influential Rush Hour record store, as well as traveling the world and picking up his own global influences.
Eksish Mix
Bristol based selector, Eksish brings us minimal, wobbly house and deep club weapons for Tapes #122.
Baby Rollén Mix
Joining us for Tapes #111 is London-based DJ and producer and found of the Slump Recordings, Baby Rollén. His ever expanding sound encompasses influences from jungle and breaks through to progressive house and tech house as well.
Pascale Project Mix
Here to take over Tapes #110 is Montreal-based singer, producer and DJ, Pascale Project. She’s been active in the music scene since 2008 and has released music on labels such as Planet Euphorique, Radiant Love, La Rama Records and Orange Milk, as well as being the found of her own label "Your Approval Isn't Needed".
Kitsta Mix
Few combine glittery euphoric motifs with dark undertones as well as Yorkshire artist Kitsta, who is joining us for Tapes #109.
Now London-based, she's continuing to hone her sound with her music finding a home on labels such as Fly By Night Recordings, Gimme A Break, as well as her own newly established Megababes imprint. She also co-runs The Beatriarchy, a platform dedicated to uplifting underrepresented DJ’s.
Innershades Mix
Joining us for Tapes #108 is Belgian DJ and producer Innershades. Influenced by electronic body music, acid house, rude electro and nineties trance, Innershades’ raw yet wistful productions sound like what could be the OST to the golden age of Belgian club life.
DJ Winggold Mix
DJ Winggold, artist, writer, radio host, speaker and mental health advocat is joining us to take over Tapes #107.
He’s also one of the key minds behind Unbound Events, a London-based events platform using underground music as a vehicle to elevate minorities and raise awareness of social issues. He draws inspiration from Afrofuturism to guide his creative pursuits, focusing on the intersection between race, identity, history and culture.
DJ Wiggles Mix
DJ Wiggles, Netil Radio resident and co-founder of concept-based mix series Kinetic + OFF Limits, is joining us to take over Tapes #106.
Papa Nugs Mix
Taking over Tapes #105 is Papa Nugs. At present, Papa Nugs' explorations into the realms of progressive house, percussive techno and old-school tech house are allowing his creativity to continue flourishing. He however remains connected to his roots, consistently paying homage to his UK and bass music influences heard consistently in his sets and production.
Amelia Holt Mix
Up next for Tapes #104 is Amelia Holt, best known for her shapeshifting sets and weaving through genres and tempos to create a narrative flow uniquely her own. She currently holds down a residency at Public Records and at The Lot Radio – and runs an eponymous monthly music newsletter, In Your Dirty Ears, highlighting her favourite new electronic releases and more, with Yumi and S. Casella.
de Silva Mix
de Silva is a London based DJ with over 10 years of collecting records under his belt and he’s taking over Tapes #103. He is the co-founder of CULT Records, a new label and digging platform relaunched from the ashes of his successful Manchester party who welcomed the likes of Objekt, Josey Rebelle, DJ Python, Shanti Celeste and many more over the years.
Kassian Mix
Joining us for Tapes #102 is Kassian. Since launching in 2019, Kassian have released records on Heist, Phonica Records and Shall Not Fade, evolving their sound from groove laden House towards more leftfield threads of Techno and UK Bass.
