Joining us for Tapes #108 is Belgian DJ and producer Innershades. Influenced by electronic body music, acid house, rude electro and nineties trance, Innershades’ raw yet wistful productions sound like what could be the OST to the golden age of Belgian club life.
Kassian Mix
Joining us for Tapes #102 is Kassian. Since launching in 2019, Kassian have released records on Heist, Phonica Records and Shall Not Fade, evolving their sound from groove laden House towards more leftfield threads of Techno and UK Bass.
SKETCH Mix
SKETCH, the Singaporean-born London-based DJ/ Producer is joining us for Tapes #97.
Lily Haz Mix
Lily Haz, the founder of the label Tofistock and resident at Teder.FM, is taking over Tapes #96. Lily’s productions do not fall under exact genre definitions. Inspired by dub, hip hop and contemporary leftfield dance music, Lily has a unique approach to production, characterised by distorted vocals, trap style drums and warm pads.
Violet Mix
Bringing in Tapes #86 is Violet. In her home city Lisbon, Violet is contributing to her local scene from different angles. She’s co-founder of online radio station Rádio Quântica and also resident at mina – a queer rave in unexpected venues. This work permeates Violet’s work as an artist, as she thoughtfully expresses the political history of dance music through her voice and her music.
Bad Internet Mix
Up next for Tapes #64 is Belgian native, Bad Internet. The La Bonne Musique co-honcho is a newcomer to the London scene, yet in a year's time has firmly settled in hosting some of the city's most exciting line-ups with his imprint and event collective.
LO-LOW Mix
Up next on our Tapes series #43 is LO-LOW, a self-confessed club kid and music enthusiast from London. LO-LOW found her way into the world of music through journalism, writing for CLASH Magazine and is now the co-host of two radio shows; Melatrois on Reform Radio which airs monthly and has been running for 5 years and Love Music Hate Racism’s fortnightly #speakupthursday radio show on Soho Radio. Spirited by nature, the aim of LO-LOW’s sets is to give back to audiences, what the club has done for her. By finding freedom in the expression on the dancefloor, euphoria, community and making you break a sweat. Enjoy!
Closet Yi Mix
Hailing from Seoul, South Korea, DJ and product Closet Yi joins us for our next instalment of Origins Tapes #42. Working at the Hyundai Card Music Library as a resident DJ and librarian for two years influenced Closet Yi beyond dance music genres, which has become the source of inspiration for the unique atmosphere and feeling in her music. This summer saw Closet Yi’s latest EP land on Yeti Out’s leftfield music imprint Silk Road Sounds. Embarking on a journey through acid house, breaks and high-octane techno, the ‘Speed Heals’ EP is inspired by late night drives through the city, passing by transient locations and melancholic car journeys in the early hours of the morning.
Olsvangèr Mix
Hitting up Tapes #41 we welcome Tel-Aviv-based DJ & Producer Olsvangèr, AKA DJ Headshot! As the founder of Tofistock and the curator of its cross boundaries BAZAAR mix series, Olsvangèr’s agenda is to promote local talents combined with international figures that the label is inspired by and feels connected with. The intention of the label is to expose the local scene to the freshest and the most exciting movements in the field, whilst attracting the international scene to hear the unique developments of the talented artists around Tel-Aviv, Jerusalem, and Haifa.
Adam Curtain Mix
Producer, DJ and founder of Trouble Maker Adam Curtain is next up for #40 of our Tapes Series. Adam Curtain is always trying to push the boundaries of what UK club music should sound like. Whether this is through his own productions and alias' on Trouble Maker or through his genre-hopping DJ sets that can be heard at world-renowned festivals and clubs such as Love International, Gottwood, Fabric and his second home The Lion & Lamb.
Bluetoof Mix
South London's Bluetoof, who joins us for our next installment of Origins Tapes #35, is fast becoming one of the UK's staple underground DJs and producers. In both instances, Blue dips through multiple genres, touching on electro, breaks, UKG & techno whilst also reaching for influences from his Moroccan heritage.

DJ, vocalist, promoter & producer Michelle Manetti blossomed from being an underage clubber in the Late 90s UK Rave scene, into a well-loved and well-respected DJ and stalwart of East London's Queer scene. With over 17years of DJ-ing under her belt, it's safe to say she's no novice to the decks, with the passion, skill, panache, and record collection of a well-established and well-refined DJ.
