Lucid Bass Frequency 101-155bpm Mixx

Providing the hot sauce for our 4th Origins Tapes episode we have London queer and alternative scene pioneer, Hannah Holland.

Established in 2009 as a joint record label and party, Batty Bass was the start of Hannah's outlet in exploring the disparate strains of electro, acid, techno and house. Consistently putting out dance floor friendly wax cuts from like-minded creators such as Josh Caffe, The Carry Nation, Mama, Lauren Flax and Justin Robertson’s Deadstock 33s. The imprint also provided Hannah with a platform for her own music, memorably including ‘Paris’ Acid Ball’. With the party have traversed 10 years as of 2019, its seen the likes of The Martinez Brothers, Virginia, Luke Solomon, Dan Beaumont, Gideön & Smokin Jo all play under its now legendary banner.

With elements of sludgy acid, euphoric breaks and some good ol’ vocal house cuts, this mix has something to please all. Enjoy!
